Spiritual Counseling

Spiritual Counseling

Spiritual counseling is a path towards wellness and healing.  It explores the belief and values of an individual and looks for boarder, larger meaning beyond one’s individual self.  Spiritual counseling does not require a specific religious affiliation or belief.  It does, in order to be effective, assume the individual is willing to, or already believes in a higher power.  Spiritual therapies and counseling can help connect individuals to this belief system in a more comprehensive way and allows the individual to use this connection in their recovery process.  Additionally, this counseling can be effective in relationships and family units.

Christian Spiritual Counseling employees the same concepts with a more defined emphasis on who the higher power is, and using biblical based beliefs serves to treat a variety of conditions.  Those open to Christianity or already believers can benefit from this type of counsel in their personal condition, their family life and their relationships.
